All users of the library's photocopying equipment are required to comply with the provisions of the Copyright Act 1963 and Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 when making photocopies from material which enjoys copyright protection. Failure to comply may expose the person to potential civil liability.
As a guide, generally the following may be copied:
From a journal:
No more articles from a volume than the number of issues or 10% of a volume, whichever is the greater.
From a book:
A 'reasonable' portion; will depend on the cirumstances but normally one chapter may be considered fair dealing.
